About

I'm a Mexican-American coming from two parents immigrants who came to the U.S. to achieve a better life for their kids. My dad worked two jobs while my mom worked and cared for me and my sibilings , so they instilled in me a sense of sacrifice, that nothing is given or free mentality. I took that mentality and drive to my career in sports broadcasting and journalism.

I started building my experiences in high school working as the camera operator during varsity basketball games. Throughout my time in college I strived to gain verstaility and be well-rounded in my experiences so I worked as a sports anchor and correspondent my first two years, as a news intern at WKRG News my third year. Then as a senior I looked to get experience in professional writing working with college newspaper The DePauw, local newspaper Banner Graphic, and  with Tunnel Vision Sports writing articles on professional sports, press conferences and interviewing athletes like Kevin Durant, Doc Rivers, and NFL Analyst Matt Miller. I also worked with ThePeachBasket covering the Bulls 23-24 season.

I also had the incredible opportunity to work with the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) in coverage of the SPJ Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada and with Abasto | Food & Beverage Business News covering the Sweets and Snacks conference in Indianapolis.
